Mini Hair Straighteners, Mini Price-tag

During my visit to Oxford's Topshop, I was hunting for the previously mentioned Fifi Christmas cards but instead, I found the perfect Christmas gift ... for myself: Topshop's own brand mini hair straighteners for £10. I remember reading about it in Grazia way back in august but  it wasn't until I saw them with my own eyes that I decided I just had to have them! My lovely friend offered to 'surprise' me with it for Christmas - Thanks:)

Topshop is rumoured to launch a whole range of electrical beauty products so watch this space. The mini straighteners will quickly become a huge success as they are the perfect size for travel (16cm) and come in their own purse (not bigger than a pencil case).  Grazia also revealed that they come in pink, too. That is my Christmas shopping list made easier!

Sienna Miller in Topshop's Myles Boots

I tried these boots on yesterday and they are the best alternative to UGGs, for a fraction of the price (£35). The fur cuff keeps you warm and they are so versatile you can put them on with floral dresses or throw them on with your favourite leggings and t-shirt. They also come in black but are selling fast so you'll have to hurry!

Bunny Style

I was looking for this year's essential christmas cards when I came across these in Topshop.

The cards feature Fifi Lapin wearing Topshop's Christmas collection pieces. I immediately fell in love with the cards and Fifi herself. For all of you that are not familiar with her, Elle magazine called her "the world's most stylish bunny" and she appears in Vogue more often than some of the major designers. She has a closet that will make any fashionista green with envy. Fifi has all the outfits from most designer labels staright off the runway. If you want to know more and get amazing styling tips, go to http://fifi-lapin.blogspot.com/ . I'm already hooked.

Check out some of Fifi Lapin's most fashion forward outfits. I'm sure she never goes through those i-haven't-got-a-clue-what-to-wear moments.

If you like her style, you can mix Fifi into your wardrobe with these t-shirts available at ASOS £22:

Top 5 - Halloween for the Fashion Conscious

A week to go until the Halloween celebrations and parties officially begin. We are already addicted to the scary Krispy Kreme special edition doughnuts and Hotel Chocolat's colourful treats.

For more information visit krispykreme.co.uk and hotelchocolat.co.uk to find your closest store.

Themed food is one thing but Halloween is all about fancy dress. Some of us will try to avoid the party shops and looking like dozens of other witches/catwomen turning up at the same event. If you don't like the idea of dressing head-to-toe in creepy gear, take your pick from these spooky but fashionable picks:

1. River Island Belt £29.99 decorated with jewel spiders and crawlies (very Dolce&Gabbana inspired). Wear over block colour party dress to make it the focus of your outfit.

2. TOPSHOP Velvet Bat Bag £25. This bag is so cute and simple, you can keep it for the rest of the season. If you feel like some DIY, get some gems and ribbons to decorate the bat, maybe give him a face:) Badges are also a great way to make it more individual.

3. Marc by Marc Jacobs Pendant Watch £150 from ASOS.com. This watch is worth investing in. Pendant watches are so on trend and this one makes a cool conversational piece.

4. Spiderweb Bangle £12 from ASOS. Another jewellery that you'll be wearing long after Halloween. Use it to add relevance to your not so obvious Halloween outfit or to OTT your full on costume.

5. Anything from the Halloween range from Accessorize. Prices start from £2.50.

Check out Topshop's website for more party accessories from leopard ears to devil tails, they're all fab!

X Factor Fashion - Week 2 The Girls

I wasn't as impressed with this week's dress choices. The Preen bandage mini dress worn by Lucie was to die for and in the perfect colour but I felt it didn't suit the song and looked unconfortable to dance around the stage in. Once again, I tried to find similar pieces from the high street. Enjoy!

X Factor Fashion - Week 1 The Girls

When X-Factor gets to the stage the live shows begin, we know Christmas is coming and our weekend evening are covered for the rest of the year. We are all looking forward to the performances of each act but the outfits add a little extra excitement.

My favourite this week was Rachel's. The breton style sequin top had so many trends all in one including shoulder pads and that's only the top. The jeans were super simple that worked with her gorgeous KG by Kurt Geiger Eleanor Orange Courts £130. This outfit is what I'm most likely to copy head to toe as it works for daytime and going out.

Copy her look:

Petit Bateau Breton top £24 Petitbateau.com, Indigo Skinny Jeans £15 Dorothy Perkins, Penny Leather Suede Court Shoe £40 ASOS

Lucie Jones was wearing BCBGMAXAZRIA  Blue One Side Drape Dress £162 from Mywardrobe.com, River Island Buckle Strap Platforms £79.99 and amazing grecian gold jewellery.

This is a great outfit that works for so many occasions. It will take you from school/work to bar and you won't feel under or overdressed anywhere you go. Hair Accessories

Winter is coming and we have to start wearing coats, scarves and cover most of our outfit but accessorizing is a great way to still make a statement. Choose a headband that you instantly fall in love with and will wear with anything. Try and keep the rest of the look basic - think t-shirt and jeans - unless you're on a night out or at a cocktail party/wedding. If you don't feel so daring, there's a huge choice of hairclips and bandos that will give your 'do the wow factor even if you had no time to style it.
