Inside the bag..

Turquoise Silk Dress

The perfect dress for a summer wedding. The jewels around the neckline make it more than a high street piece and there is no need for a necklace. Some colourful or gold bangles will complete the look.

Cotton Sarong

Looks simple enough but the print is so amazing especially if you are a fan of Pucci-esque details and there are endless ways of wearing it this summer.

One-piece Swimsuit

Love, love, love the colours and print. The clip at the back provide support and it's backless so it will not stop you from getting that tan to go with summer dresses.

Bikini bottom

Bikini top

Cover-up T-shirt

I'll be wearing this over the swimsuit with a belt to the beach but will also be great with leggings and a cardigan for a daytime look.

Peacock Wrap Dress

I'm not a great believer in wrap dresses from the high street. After trying and experiencing  a Diane Von Furstenberg wrap I really think it's very hard to measure up to the fit of the dress and the silhouette it creates. Mr. Williamson has done it with a youthful print, too.

Peacock Vest

The detail in the stitching makes in stand out from basic vests and I love the peacock print so much, getting both colours was a must.

The Peacock Cardigan

The cashmere-cotton blend cardigan is probably my favourite. The bright pink will add an injection of colour to my outfits and will go with all the other pieces.

Matthew Williamson for H&M Summer Collection

It's the day I've been waiting for after attending the Vogue Preview Party for the first collection, from where I somehow managed to return without any garments. I was gutted that all the pieces have disappeared from the racks before I even got there. I was appalled to find them popping up on Gumtree and Ebay for a much higher price. It's sad that some people would take these amazing and exclusive pieces to the tills without feeling excitement and joy like fans of fashion who are already picking out outfits around their new purchase. As a customer you are in competition with people with a different aim: profit. That's when I decided to organize it better for the summer collection. Having looked throught the pieces online, I contacted my two best friends living in other parts of Europe and together we've come up with the ultimate shopping list which we could somehow scrape together on the morning of the launch. Directions were simple: grab the clothes in the right size and head for the fitting rooms to get away from the crowd. There we could all report to eachother with what we managed to get our hands on and ones that we could simply not find. Seemed like a complicated plan but after 40 minutes of size hunting, queuing and conference calls, we all walked out of H&M stores in London, Nice and Budapest with pretty pink carrier bags designed for the collection. Our goal was reached and we cannot wait to get great use out of these one of a kind gems. Special thanks to H&M Nice who also displayed some pieces from the previous collection and realizing my dream to own the stunning pink peacock cardigan which will add colour and statement to every piece in my closet.

Go Nude for Summer

You saw it everywhere on the catwalks as a toned down alternative for bright colours. It is the sophisticated look for this summer which is worth investing in. The neutral colours and interesting cuts will always have a place in your wardrobe. You can wear it the classic way or go edgy. Wearing nudes and whites are a good way to show off your tan and most pieces will take you from day to night with the right accessories.

Here is a selection of my favourite nude pieces from the high street:

Patent leather shoes, Clarks £59.99

Parachute Cotton Dress, ASOS £40 - light enough to wear for day with flat gladiators and a cardigan; or dress it up with platforms and statement necklace.

Girl Print Silk Dress, Barbara Hulanicki for Topshop £55 - Looks great with a black shrunken leather jacket or boyfriend blazer. Keep it for next season and wear a pair of black opaques.

Natural Blazer Jacket, Principles £89 - this piece will fuse your summer wardrobe together. Wear it with floral dresses, smarten up jeans and t-shirt, jumpsuits or shorts. The possibilities are endless...
