It's the day I've been waiting for after attending the Vogue Preview Party for the first collection, from where I somehow managed to return without any garments. I was gutted that all the pieces have disappeared from the racks before I even got there. I was appalled to find them popping up on Gumtree and Ebay for a much higher price. It's sad that some people would take these amazing and exclusive pieces to the tills without feeling excitement and joy like fans of fashion who are already picking out outfits around their new purchase. As a customer you are in competition with people with a different aim: profit. That's when I decided to organize it better for the summer collection. Having looked throught the pieces online, I contacted my two best friends living in other parts of Europe and together we've come up with the ultimate shopping list which we could somehow scrape together on the morning of the launch. Directions were simple: grab the clothes in the right size and head for the fitting rooms to get away from the crowd. There we could all report to eachother with what we managed to get our hands on and ones that we could simply not find. Seemed like a complicated plan but after 40 minutes of size hunting, queuing and conference calls, we all walked out of H&M stores in London, Nice and Budapest with pretty pink carrier bags designed for the collection. Our goal was reached and we cannot wait to get great use out of these one of a kind gems. Special thanks to H&M Nice who also displayed some pieces from the previous collection and realizing my dream to own the stunning pink peacock cardigan which will add colour and statement to every piece in my closet.
